Holiday Parades in Alexandria

On Saturday, December 7, enjoy marching units of Scottish clans, the stirring sound of bagpipes and drums, Scottish dancers, dignitaries, classic cars and more as the annual Scottish Christmas Walk Parade comes to Old Town Alexandria at 11 a.m.

Later on, visit the Potomac waterfront to see the 20th Anniversary Holiday Boat Parade of Lights. Enjoy dockside activities from 2-8 p.m.; the Holiday Boat Parade begins at 5:30 p.m.

Alexandria Police Youth Camp Hosts Christmas Tree Sale
Help the Alexandria Police Youth Camp (APYC) send kids to camp! Beginning Saturday, November 30, the APYC will host its annual Christmas tree sale. Trees will be available Monday through Friday from 4 to 8 p.m., and weekends from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., at 110 Callahan Drive. All funds raised will help send Alexandria kids to police camp!
