The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Warning for the City of Alexandria until 2 pm on Monday, September 10.
A Coastal Flood Warning means that flooding is occurring or imminent. Coastal residents and businesses should be alert for rising water, and take appropriate action to protect life and property.
The public is urged to use precaution when traveling: turn around, don’t drown when encountering water-covered roads.
