DISPENSATION FROM ABSTINECE FROM EATING MEAT ON FRIDAY 16 – LUNAR NEW YEAR DAY FOR VIETNAMESE CATHOLICS IN THE DIOCESE
Dear Fr. Liem
Bishop Burbidge has received your request for a dispensation from the requirement of abstaining from eating meat on Friday, February 16, 2018, for those who will be participating in the Lunar New Year Celebration.
I am happy to convey that Bishop Burbidge grants the requested dispensation for all the Vietnamese faithful in the Diocese of Arlington as they celebrate Tết and welcome the New Year on Friday 16th of February.
He commends your remembering and praying for the deceased and your asking for God’s protection and blessings in the New Year.
