Virginia Voter Registration Deadline Extended to Friday, October 21

The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia has ordered the voter registration deadline in Virginia extended through Friday, October 21.

Eligible voters may register in one of the following ways:

Submit the application online at https://vote.elections.virginia.gov by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, October 21.
Register in person at the Office of Voter Registration, 132 North Royal St., Suite 100, before 5 p.m. on Friday, October 21.
Download an application at www.alexandriava.gov/Elections, then print and sign the completed form and mail it to the Office of Voter Registration, 132 North Royal St., Suite 100, Alexandria, VA 22314. Applications must be postmarked on or before Friday, October 21.
Voters may check registration status at https://vote.elections.virginia.gov or by contacting the Alexandria Office of Voter Registration at voters@alexandriava.gov or 703.746.4050.

All eligible voters who register to vote on before Friday, October 21, will be able to vote in the General Election on Tuesday, November 8.
